Mary Adrian
Interim Director of Excellence for Literacy Development
Mary Adrian earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas, where she also completed her B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Special Education. A 2014 NCEA Distinguished Principal, Mary brings deep experience as both a school leader and educator, grounded in a lifelong commitment to Catholic education.
Having once been on the receiving end of CSCOE’s support, Mary knows firsthand the impact the organization has on schools and their leaders. She is proud to now serve on the team, passing that support forward to Minnesota Catholic schools. She is especially energized by collaborating with CSCOE’s coaches and staff, whose dedication and shared mission make the work both meaningful and joyful.
Throughout her career, Mary has found that growth often comes during the most challenging moments—those times when you are called to lead in ways you are not sure you can, but do anyway. Grounded by her daily five-mile walks and fueled by a deep belief in building strong, capable, and durable kids, she brings steady leadership and heart to everything she does. A fun fact: she once went skydiving with her pastor as part of a school fundraiser.
