Interim Vice President for Educational Excellence

Helen Dahlman earned her B.A. in K–12 Physical Education from the College of St. Catherine and went on to receive both her M.A. in Educational Leadership and her Ed.S. from the University of St. Thomas. Her background in education and leadership equips her to support Catholic school leaders with both strategic insight and practical experience.

Helen is inspired by the visible impact CSCOE has made across Minnesota. She has seen leaders grow more confident and proud of their schools, academic excellence increase, and enrollment strengthen. For her, the work is deeply meaningful because it is making a measurable difference in Catholic school communities.

She thrives on collaborating with a talented team to create and implement innovative solutions to the challenges school leaders bring forward. Guided by her approach to listen, create, and implement, Helen is driven by progress and impact. A fun fact: she taught tap dancing through high school and college.
