David Hottinger brings more than 20 years of development experience in Catholic education to his work at CSCOE, along with a deep commitment to helping schools grow and thrive. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and has spent his career connecting donors to mission-driven impact and strengthening advancement efforts across Catholic institutions.

David is inspired by CSCOE’s ability to equip schools with the tools they need to succeed and the support to put those tools into action. He is especially passionate about building relationships with school leaders, coaching and guiding them, and helping unlock new opportunities that make a lasting difference for students and communities. Guided by his approach to connect, coach, and inspire, David finds purpose in seeing the joy of giving and the gratitude it creates.

Outside of work, David is the go-to cook for his extended family and a devoted fan of Yacht Rock, with a knack for music trivia from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. He starts each day grounded in prayer and brings energy and intention to his work, always ready for what the day may bring and the opportunities it holds to make an impact.
